TxDOT Uses Baby Yoda to Keep Texas Roadways Safe

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation is “recruiting” the help of Baby Yoda to remind travelers to be safe this holiday season and use the proper car seats for their children.

The popular character of The Mandalorian has become an internet sensation and the main character in a multitude of memes. TxDOT has posted signs reading things like “Baby Yoda uses a car seat, be safe he will," and “The rise of safe driver to end the streak."

The “steak” is in reference to November 7, 2000, being the last deathless day on roadways in Texas.

Last month TxDOT hosted a mock funeral at Fairmount Ceremony to remind Texans of the deadly streak going on and encourage drivers to be safe on the road.
