Volunteer Fire Departments and County Sheriffs Called to Structure Fire

 

GRAPE CREEK, TX-- Volunteer Fire Departments were called to a structure fire at 10297 Grape Creek Rd. at 11:30 this morning.

Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Water Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Carlsbad Volunteer Fire Department, Quail Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and Tom Green Sheriff's Department were dispatched to investigate the situation. The structure is a trailer home and it is believed that the owner was inside the building when it was on fire.

"Upon arrival, the house was fully involved, and we did what we could to contain it with limited resources," said Aaron Flint, Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Chief. Chief Aaron Flint was able to confirm that the scene is being investigated by the Sheriff's department, but no further information was given. 

Reporter on scene saw a coroner's van pull up but sheriff's department could not confirm or deny this.
