Traffic Signals Temporarily Down at Sherwood Way and Southland Intersection

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Wednesday morning, the Texas Department of Transportation started removing the traffic signal at Sherwood Way and Southland Boulevard/FM 2288 to install new signals.

This is part of TxDOT’s Sherwood Way improvement project.

The work should be completed this afternoon or on Thursday, according to the City of San Angelo. In the interim, traffic at the intersection will be controlled by a four-way stop.

Drivers are urged to use caution. For more on TxDOT road construction all over San Angelo this week, see this story.
