A San Angelo Motorcycle Driver Loses Control, Crashes Near Junell Center

 

A solo motorcycle accident on Jackson St. near the Junell Center sent a 43-year-old San Angelo man to the hospital Sunday evening.

San Angelo Police Department Officer Acosta said that the driver lost control of his motorcycle then hit the right curb while driving south on Jackson from W. Avenue N. After hitting the curb, the motocycle hurled into the opposing lane of traffic. No other vehicles were involved. San Angelo Police are still investigating the exact cause.

The driver was transported to Shannon Hospital by ambulance. According to Sarah Stewart, a family friend who posted on our Facebook wall, the driver is expected to recover.
