WATCH: The Top 5 Mutton Busters of the 90th San Angelo Rodeo
SAN ANGELO, TX -- Now that the show is over let's break down the top 5 Sonora Bank Mutton Busters of the 90th Annual San Angelo Rodeo.
Number five. 6-year-old Connor Webb from Bronte rode for 91 points and even shared his excitement about taking home a big ol' belt buckle.
Number four. The top ride from week 2 was Wall's very own Morgan Dusek. The beauty pageant queen turned mutton buster how it was done with a 90-point ride.
Number three. Another cowgirl from Wall who kicked some lamb tail was 8-year-old Sawyer Bloodworth. Her 90-point ride was the highest of the rodeo scoring her a sweet Sonora Bank Mutton Bustin' belt buckle.
Number two. One of the greatest quotes of the entire rodeo came from a cowboy in sneakers. Six-year-old Ryan Beach stole the show in performance 7 with an 88-point ride and pretty much gave us the secret to winning some Sonora Bank Bling. "Hold on until a grown up pulls you off or the sheep dies," said Ryan.
Number one. Despite the list of resilient cowboys, the toughest one in San Angelo was 6-year-old Cooper Horak who scored a 91-point ride during performance 2. But if you though the ride was entertaining wait until you hear what he told San Angelo LIVE's Manny Diaz when it was all said and done. It's Mutton Bustin' presented by Sonora Bank.
