SAN ANGELO, TX – Temperatures in the San Angelo area are expected to remain cooler through the weekend before a warming trend begins early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday’s highs will stay in the low 50s, with north winds at 15-20 mph keeping conditions brisk. A gradual warm-up is expected, with highs reaching 62 degrees on Sunday, 75 degrees on Monday, and peaking near 85 degrees by Thursday.

Overnight lows will range from the mid-30s to the mid-50s throughout the week. Winds will shift from the north early in the week to the west-southwest by midweek, bringing breezy conditions, with gusts up to 30 mph on Wednesday.
In addition to the rising temperatures, the region is facing an increased fire risk next week. Wednesday and Friday are expected to be the most dangerous days, with low humidity and wind gusts exceeding 40 mph contributing to critical fire weather conditions. Officials advise residents to take precautions, including clearing brush, avoiding outdoor burning, and ensuring vehicle chains are not dragging.
