Not Quite as Cold This Afternoon, But Dangerously Low Wind Chills Persist

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – West Central Texas remains under an Extreme Cold Warning until noon Thursday, with dangerously low temperatures and wind chills expected to persist.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo warns that wind chill values could drop as low as three degrees during the morning hours.

Thursday’s high is forecast to reach 32 degrees in San Angelo, but wind chill values will make it feel much colder, ranging between 4 and 14 degrees throughout the day. Overnight, lows will drop to 19 degrees, with wind chills between 11 and 16 degrees. Winds from the east to northeast will remain light at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday is expected to be slightly warmer, with a high near 41 degrees and wind chills between 11 and 21 degrees. Friday night will be mostly cloudy with a low of 29 degrees and calm winds.
