SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo will experience cool and cloudy conditions today, with a high near 50 degrees and a northeast wind around 5 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Tonight, temperatures will dip to a low of 42 under mostly cloudy skies, with winds shifting to the east-southeast.
As the week progresses, rain chances will increase, with a slight chance of showers beginning Tuesday morning. By Tuesday night, rain chances rise to 40%, with a high near 56 degrees earlier in the day.
Wednesday afternoon brings an uptick in rain and thunderstorm activity, with severe weather expected to persist into Thursday morning. Hazards include damaging winds exceeding 60 mph, hail up to the size of quarters, and heavy rainfall. Rainfall totals could exceed one inch in some areas, with the heaviest rain likely occurring Wednesday night.
