NWS: Cold Front Racing Through Big Country Will Hit San Angelo Momentarily

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo will feel the brunt of a cold front tonight as it races through the Big Country, bringing gusty winds and plunging temperatures. The front is expected to arrive between 6 and 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Already, areas like Haskell and Throckmorton have seen temperatures drop into the 60s, with wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph. The front passed through Abilene earlier this afternoon and is set to continue toward Brady and Brownwood before clearing the I-10 corridor by 10 p.m.

Residents should prepare for gusty north winds and cooler conditions as the front pushes through.
