NWS: San Angelo Sets Record for Wettest November Day

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo recorded its wettest November day on record yesterday, with 3.84 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Abilene also experienced heavy rainfall, marking its third-wettest November day with 2.01 inches. The highest cumulative rainfall in the area was recorded north of Ballinger, where totals from the past two days reached 10.36 inches.

San Angelo also shattered its daily rainfall record today, as 1.79 inches fell after midnight, surpassing the previous record of 1.25 inches set in 1940, according to the National Weather Service.
