Tornado Watch Issued for Western Concho Valley

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Tornado Watch has been issued for the western portions of the Concho Valley, including San Angelo, and the Northern Edwards Plateau.

According to the National Weather Service, this is effective until 11 p.m. this evening. 

NWS stated that the most likely time for storms in San Angelo is between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. Potential hazards include hail up to three inches in diameter, wind gusts reaching up to 75 mph, and possible tornadoes.

Residents are advised to ensure they have multiple methods to receive warnings.
