Expect Hot Temperatures For Memorial Day Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service in San Angelo announced that most of the area is not expected to experience severe weather today. 

However, isolated strong to severe storms may occur in the southeast portions of the area late this afternoon and early this evening.

The main threats from any storms that develop include large hail and damaging winds.

 

Detailed Forecast:

Today: Sunny and hot, with a high near 99 degrees. Southwest winds around 10 mph, becoming west-northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low of around 64 degrees. West winds around 5 mph, shifting to the east after midnight.

Saturday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 102 degrees. Southeast winds 5 to 15 mph, becoming south-southwest in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low of around 71 degrees. South-southwest winds around 10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph.

Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 101 degrees. West winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low of around 66 degrees. West-southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph.

Memorial Day: Sunny and hot, with a high near 102 degrees. West-southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, shifting to north-northwest in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low of around 69 degrees. East winds around 10 mph.
