TGCSO: N. Concho River Flooding in Northern Tom Green Co.

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday warned the public to avoid a low water crossing on the North Concho River at Water Valley because of high water.

According to a nixel, on Sep. 12, 2023, at around 11 a.m., TGCSO issued a warning for drivers attempting to cross the low water crossing at Post Oak Dr. over the N. Concho.

The river at this location has risen to the point where it is dangerous to cross.
