San Angelo Dog Park Closing Wednesday

SAN ANGELO – The dog park, 3215 Millbrook Drive, will be closed for maintenance work Wednesday, April 12, to Thursday, April 13, according to information released Tuesday by the city of San Angelo.

In related news, the new Pavilion at the Dog Park is currently under construction as we reported earlier.

The dog park is a fenced-in area where dogs can run, play and socialize with other dogs off their leashes. San Angelo's dog park is segregated, with one area for smaller dogs and another for larger breeds. There are entrance areas where the dogs are brought in on a leash and then taken to their respective off-leash area.

This park isn't just for the dogs; it's also a great place for people to socialize.

The photo below shows what the new pavilion will look like once it's completed later this summer.
