NEW YORK, NY — Former President and current candidate for president Donald J. Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts against him in the New York on charges of falsifying business records to cover up a $130,000 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. The jury deliberated all day before announcing their verdict.
He was found guilty on all 34 counts that stemmed from 11 invoices, 12 vouchers and 11 checks that make up Trump’s monthly reimbursement payments to Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen who fronted the $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
The trial is denounced as a political show trial by all Republican leaders and some Democrats as well.
Congressman August Pfluger released a statement following the verdict:
"The political witch hunt trial against President Trump was never about justice, it is nothing more than an attempt by the Democrat Party to take down the candidate they know Joe Biden can’t beat. It is a dark day in America when our justice system is weaponized against a political opponent. I will support President Trump through an appeal process to remove this trial from under the control of radical NY District Attorney Alvin Bragg and other political actors."

Sometimes witch hunts find witches.
God bless the people on that jury for their wisdom and their courage.

PermalinkI've considered you fairly intelligent. I cannot believe you can't see through the bullshit that is happening here or do you hate Trump so much that you don't care as long as he is convicted by whatever means. How about you and I debate the good and bad things Trump has done as President. After that you and I can debate the good and bad things your boy biden has done as President. Are you up for it???

PermalinkOf course Expat knows better. Check out John Glubb's "The Fate of Empires" as well as Thomas W Chittum's "Civil War II" for an understanding of the reality that increased political polarization is creating.

Permalink34 counts. 34 "Guilty" verdicts. 12 jurors voting in unison. Not a single confused/deluded juror voting "Not Guilty" to force a mistrial. They got it right.
This was the weakest case, and the verdict and speed with which it was delivered give strength to the notion that Trump is a highly flawed individual who cares little for the law and propriety. He is, quite simply, a very bad man. Going forward, the documents case is the strongest with mountains of indisputable tremendously incriminating evidence. Should Cannon ever drag her incompetent/biased ass out of the way, this case will completely bury Trump in a refuse pile he built.
Pass the popcorn. Watch while Trump continues to blubber and wail about what a "victim" he is. Also watch while his cultists swallow that bilge. While the vast majority of these poor souls are not stupid or evil, they are horribly naive and easily taken in by a master bullshit salesman. He should have been a carnival barker pushing the rubes to see the Bearded Lady or the Devil Baby.
Like the scorpion hitching a ride on the frog, it's his nature.

PermalinkExpat's in war mode, guys, and he will be until metal starts meeting flesh — and then he'll take command. When he heads the squad that means to round you up, let the lies shouted dissolve in your mind, give fear no quarter, harbor no hatred, and act with vigor and clear-minded precision! Don't be the one who says, "O Govinda, I will not fight [back]!"

PermalinkI wonder what mode he'll go into when the people elect a felon over his savior Joe Bidumb. 99% of Trumps base will still vote for him because he's the better option. Maybe not the better person but he isn't supposed to be liked as POTUS in the first place. He should be feared and respected. Obviously the democrats already have the feared part down, expat proves that daily.

PermalinkMost times I don't care to make fun of a babbling idiot, but Trump makes it too bloody easy. It's just a shame his moral and mental deficiencies seem to be so contagious... and dangerous to the country.
I fear idiots. They typically do not warrant respect, and this particular idiot personifies that.

PermalinkEverything Expat wrote is pure psychological projection, that's how you know he and others in his camp will drive themselves crazy trying to rid the opposition of the stench of corruption and decay that is emanating from themselves.
