One Person Has the Winning $730 Million Powerball Ticket

 

LONACONING, MD - The fifth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever was won last night in Maryland.

According to the Powerball website, on Jan. 20, a single winning ticket for the $731.1 million Powerball jackpot was sold by a store in Lonaconing, Maryland. 

The Allegany County store, where the ticket was purchased, will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. 

Winning numbers for Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing were: 40-53-60-68-69 and a Powerball of 22. 

No one has won the Powerball since September. The Mega Millions has still not been won and is valued right now at $970 million.
