White House Flags Placed At Half-Staff to Honor Coronavirus Victims

 

WASHINGTON, D.C – The flags at the White House will remain at half-staff until Memorial Day to commemorate the nearly 95,000 Americans who have lost the fight against COVID-19.

According to CBS7, President Trump issued the order and will pertain to government buildings and national monuments throughout the U.S.

According to John Hopkins, the U.S. currently has 1.5 million confirmed cases, nearly five times more than any other country in the world.

The flags will remain at half-staff until noon on Memorial Day.
