It’s that time of year when everyone is making resolutions for 2016. Here at San Angelo LIVE! it's no different. Most of us have resolutions or goals for the New Year, either in our business or personal lives, so we decided to share some of those with our readers.
The Goals/Resolutions of the Publisher
In regards to business, Publisher Joe Hyde, of course, wants to sell more ads and grow our company. As for his personal goals, Joe vows to post a new selfie on his Facebook wall every day.
Goals/Resolutions from the Next Man in Charge
John Basquez, creative designer, carnage extraordinaire, photographer, and the man who does it all, said he just wants to make 2016 better than 2015; a goal all of us here at LIVE! have.
Goals/Resolutions of San Angelo LIVE!'s Amazing Sales Team
Dewey Weaver in our marketing department is definitely focused on his job. He stated that his goals for 2016 are to “make more money and make Joe [Hyde] happy.”
Megan Holmquest, however, said she's not big on New Year's resolutions.
"I really don't have any resolutions," she said. "Why make resolutions if most people aren't going to keep them anyway?"
Editorial Staff Goals and Resolutions
While Brandy Ramirez, our wonderful Editor-in-chief, does not believe in resolutions, she does have a few goals for 2016.
“My New Year’s goals, business-wise, is to make San Angelo LIVE! the leading news source--not just in San Angelo, but in the surrounding areas."
Personally, Brandy has also been on a successful weight-loss journey and said, “I’ve lost 47 pounds as of now, and my goal is to finish losing the additional 48 pounds.”
Our newest reporter, Simone Brooks, wants to get started on her third degree and continue her progress in her weight-lifting program. Most of all, Brooks’ focus remains on her daughter and hopes to continue building a better life for the two of them.
Lastly, I have a few personal goals of my own. As an ASU student, I want to continue to excel in my studies and keep my GPA up. I also hope to grow as a writer and continue to help make San Angelo LIVE! as great as it possibly can be. Most importantly, I will continue to be the best wife I can be to my wonderful husband who has been so patient with me as I journeyed back into the business and education world.
From all of us at San Angelo LIVE!, we wish you all a safe and happy New Year!
