Six Market Boulevard was a fast rising Texas Country Music band out of Stephenville. The band made regular perfomances at Blaine’s Pub and nothing seemed to be in the band’s way as they grew their fan base.
Ten days ago, at Blaine’s, was the band’s last run through west Texas and the bar crowd there held a going away party for the band.
The band is breaking up because lead singer Clayton Landau reached an epiphany in his life, realizing that the life of the party isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Binge drinking, smoking dope, and having to wear that persona of every party man’s life of the party wasn’t fulfilling. Instead, he found something else. Here’s Clayton in his own words.

The song Clayton refers to in the testimonial video above, “Silence in Me” is performed here.

Here are the lyrics:
Silence in Me
Well now I sense somethin inside me
Is starting to change
Like somethings been hiding
Now I've got something to say
And I can see the day
No need to be afraid
I'm gonna hit the ground runnin
The rains comin down and
The lighting crashes loud
Can you hear the sound
Can you feel it now?
This silence in me is starting to break
Like this weight that I've been holding
I feel it crumble away
I release my inhibitions
Let go of the reigns
I don't need another captain
I'm sailing away, yes I'm sailing away
