“In April, the company announced the vaccine had 91.3% efficacy against COVID-19, based on measuring how well it prevented symptomatic COVID-19 infection seven days through up to six months after the second dose. It also found it to be 100% effective in preventing severe disease as defined by the CDC, and 95.3% effective in preventing severe disease as defined by the FDA. Another study, not yet peer-reviewed, provided more new datathat brought the efficacy number down to 84% after 6 months, although efficacy against severe disease was 97%.”

Ok, so 44,094 people are fully vaccinated and 51,709 have had at least one dose in Tom Green county. With new FDA approval, the consensus is that “hesitancy” will be reduced, resulting in more being vaccinated. Can we all agree to just use 50,000, for the sake of a round number, that will be fully vaccinated?

Notice what the efficacy is based on:

“based on measuring how well it prevented symptomatic COVID-19 infection“

So, it was ineffective in 8.7% based on them exhibiting symptoms. What percentage of the 91.3% that it was “effective” in actually still contracted COVID but were asymptomatic? How dangerous could it be for people to think they are immune because the were vaccinated only to be walking around asymptomatic spreading the virus? At least when people know they are sick, with anything, they tend to stay home and limit contact.

The 100% and 95.3% are obviously subjective and have no purpose to my point. After 6 months, the effectiveness apparently falls off the cliff to 84%, which is the point we are at now on the timeline.

But let’s be conservative and say all that have been vaccinated were vaccinated in the last month. Ok, so we are at 91.3% effective and 8.7% ineffective. And let’s be super conservative in saying only .3% were asymptomatic in the study back in April, again, for a nice round number. Going back to our nice round number of 50,000 vaccinated and our nice round number of 9% ineffectiveness, we come up with 4,500 who were vaccinated that the vaccine did absolutely nothing for. They contracted it, symptoms or not. This number would be for Tom Green county ALONE! Population of the US is about 333,000,000.

Let’s live the dream of everyone in the US becoming vaccinated. Let’s see, 333,000,000 x 9%= 29,970,000 VACCINATED people still catching COVID, still spreading COVID, and still giving the virus the chance to mutate and produce VARIANTS. Let’s say we all come together as a county and all (120,000) get vaccinated. Let’s see, 120,000 x 9%= 10,800 runnin’ ‘round with Covid.

Whatever narrative you believe about the origins of the virus, a bat or a lab leak, it supposedly started with 1 person in the world becoming infected and it spread all over the world. I question both narratives, but I’ll just stick to the ones presented by the propaganda box that y’all seem to be so mesmerized by and take whatever talking heads say as truth.

“Only one observational study has directly analyzed the impact of mask use in the community on COVID-19 transmission. The study looked at the reduction of secondary transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in Beijing households by face mask use (10). It found that face masks were 79% effective in preventing transmission, if they were used by all household members prior to symptoms occurring. The study did not look at the relative risk of different types of mask.”

Ok, so let’s say 80% effective in preventing transmission, 20% ineffectiveness. So if EVERYONE in the US (333,000,000) got vaccinated and EVERYONE wore a mask:

333,000,000 x 9% =29,970,000

29,970,000 x 20% =5,994,000

If EVERYONE in the US was compliant there would still be 5,994,000 people runnin’ ‘round spreadin’ that COVID. Plenty of people to propagate new variants, that will, well what’s the argument now,“render the vaccine ineffective”. It’s a hamster wheel, in a hamster box.
