Daily COVID-19 Infections in San Angelo Continue to Rise

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The daily Covid-19 infections being reported by the San Angelo Health Department have continued to grow.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Jul. 15, the health department reported another 30 new infections. This brings the total number of infections since Mar. 2020 to 17,106. 

There are currently 113 active infections and nine of the 113 are currently hospitalized.

Since the beginning there have been 316 deaths from COVID-19 in Tom Green County. 201 of those deaths were residents of the county.

Throughout the week of Jul. 10-16 Tom Green County has had a positivity rate of 13.7 percent.
