Health Department Announces More COVID-19 Infections

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Health department confirmed another five COVID-19 infections on Thursday afternoon.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Jun. 9, the city's health department reported another five new COVID-19 infections. That makes the total positive infections since Mar. 2020 stay the same at 16,919. 

There are currently 23 active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200.

There are currently 6 patients hospitalized in Tom Green County with COVID-19.

So far there have been 314 COVID-19 fatalities in Tom Green County. 201 of the deceased were residents of the county.
