Health Department Announces First COVID-19 Fatality in Weeks

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Health Department has confirmed an additional COVID-19-related fatality in Tom Green County.

According to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, on Apr. 1, a woman in her 50s from Bailey County died of Covid-19.

This brings the total COVID-19-related death count in Tom Green County to 307: 198 from Tom Green County and 109 from other counties. We do not have any further information about the patient at this time. 

The last coronavirus death was reported on Mar. 18.
