Coronavirus: Cases Increase Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Health Department confirmed another 12 cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. 

According to COSA, on September 8, there are currently 623 active cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County. 

Of those 623 cases, only 22 patients are currently hospitalized. Monday the City reported that there were no patients with coronavirus in the ICU. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic the health department has reported 3,355. As of 2019 there are approximately 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.

Out of the 12 cases reported on Tuesday, 9 were PCR cases and 3 were antigen cases.
