Coronavirus: Wednesday's Confirmed Cases All Over 40

SAN ANGELO, TX — The number of daily positive COVID-19 cases in San Angelo continues to decrease steadily. On Wednesday, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed only 11 new cases.

Even as schools reopen for in-person classes the number of school-age children who have tested remains low compared to other age groups. On Wednesday every single patient was over the age of 40 with more than half belonging to Tom Green patients.

There are currently 21 hospitalized patients in Tom Green County, which also dramatically decreased since last month.

The total number of positive patients has reached 3,261.
