Coronavirus: New Positive Cases Continue to Drop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County on Monday.

According to the City of San Angelo, on August 17, since the beginning there have been 2,923 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tom Green County. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200. 

Hospitalizations have remain steady at 49. Overall COSA has announced 45 deaths in San Angelo. 34 of them are residents of Tom Green County.

The city is expected to release the full coronavirus report later today.

Out of the 20 new cases 11 were PCR cases and 9 were antigen cases.
