Coronavirus: Second Case Confirmed in Sweetwater with Mysterious Transmission

 

SWEETWATER, TX –Nolan County has confirmed its second case of coronavirus on Thursday.

According to KTXS, the patient is described as a 40-year-old male who is currently being cared for at an Abilene hospital.

According to officials the patient stated he had not traveled outside of Sweetwater and did not visit any restaurants or grocery stores. 

Before being admitted to the hospital, the patient was evaluated twice at the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital for non-COVID-19 symptoms. During both of his visits, the patient and staff wore makes and precautionary guidelines were followed.

Those in contact with the patient are being asked to self-isolate.
