WACO, TX— On Friday, December 1, the Brownwood Lions lost their game against Decatur High School at Baylor University's McLane Stadium 35-38. 2nd Half

The second half began with a defensive standoff, with both teams struggling to ignite their offenses. Eventually, the Lions surged into scoring position with a massive 70-yard completion to #2 Carson Noe, setting up Hall for a 5-yard rushing touchdown, tying the game at 21-21. Brownwood Lions displayed prowess on both offense and defense as quarterback Ike Hall orchestrated another rushing touchdown, granting his team a 28-21 lead for the first time in the game.

However, the Lions' lead was short-lived as #7 for the Eagles returned the kickoff for an 85-yard touchdown, leveling the score at 28-28. Brownwood failed to respond effectively, allowing the Eagles to capitalize, securing a successful field goal to take a 31-28 lead.

Facing a third down and long, Hall connected with #16 on a deep pass, drawing a pass interference penalty at the 4-yard line, granting the Lions a new set of downs and favorable field position. Hall capitalized on the opportunity with a quarterback keep, regaining the lead 35-31 with only 1:26 left in the game.
