Playoffs: Wall Hawks Pulverize Tornillo

WALL, TX — During the first round of the playoffs Friday night, the Wall Hawks faced the Tornillo Coyotes and delivered an uncontested all out beat-down advancing the Hawks to round 2 next week.

From the moment the whistle was blown and the first quarter began, Wall struck early and they struck often. Almost every time Wall's offense touched the football they would find the end zone on almost every drive.

The Hawks were not only firing on all cylinders on offense but were also launching an all out assault against the Coyotes inferior offense. Tornillo would try to run the ball up the middle or try to beat Wall's defense around the corner but they were repeatedly swarmed by green and white jerseys in the backfield for a loss of yards on nearly every drive.

In fact, Tornillo had trouble gaining positive yards against the Hawks at all.  Wall's defense had multiple pick six interceptions and also capitalized on literally every single turnover.

Here is the highlight reel from the game:

Wall Hawks Head Football Coach Houston Guy after the game was gracious but confident about his team's ability to execute his game plan. Here is Coach Guy:

With the first round win, Wall will take on Childress next Friday. Location is yet to be determined.
