SAN ANGELO, TX — On Tuesday, nine veterans will be arriving in San Angelo for a week-long hunting experience, generously sponsored by local donors. This event, organized by the San Angelo “Support for Veterans” group, aims to offer a team-building adventure. The participating veterans, who have served in the Middle East, are set for a memorable experience.
Throughout the week, until Saturday, these veterans will engage in guided hunting expeditions and enjoy communal dinners. These activities are designed to foster camaraderie, echoing the brotherhood they experienced during their military service. It's an opportunity for them to reconnect and build new bonds.
The week's activities will commence with an Arrival and Welcome Ceremony at San Angelo's Mathis Field Airport. This ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday evening, December 5, at 5:20 p.m. Members of the public are warmly invited to attend and show their support.
