SAN ANGELO, TX— Angelo State University's Mariachi Los Pastores ensemble will present its first-ever fall concert on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. in the Houston Harte University Center at 1910 Rosemont Drive.
Titled "Amor Que Vuelve," the concert will take place in the University Center's C.J. Davidson Conference Center and is free and open to the public. Mariachi Los Pastores includes 18 ASU student musicians, and this concert will feature the debuts of several new singers.
The musical program for the concert will include:
- "Hermoso Carino" featuring Roberto Lopez on vocals
- "Sabor A Mi" featuring Analeah Zamarron on vocals
- "El Rey" featuring Manny Garcia and Caden Kaufman on vocals
- "Volver Medley" featuring Jessie Martinez on vocals
- "Los Laureles" featuring Abigail Elizondo on vocals
- "Feliz Navidad"
- "El Son de la Negra" with special guests

Mariachi Los Pastores is directed by Rosendo Ramos of the ASU music faculty, who is also the mariachi director at Lake View High School.
