Texas State University to Offer Class on Former One Direction Pop Icon Harry Styles

 

SAN MARCOS – Do you know who Harry Styles is? Then you've got to enroll in this upcoming class at Texas State University in San Marcos.

According to a leaked email from the Texas State University's Honors College, beginning in the Spring of 2023, the University will offer a class on the works of pop star Harry Styles.

The class will focus on his work in both music and film. Instructor of the class, Dr. Louie Dean Valencia, stated in a flyer that the call is to “understand the cultural and political development of the modern celebrity.”

Styles was originally in the band one direction which had a number of award winning hits including 'Up All Night' and 'Take Me Home.'

Since leaving the band split he has came other songs including 'Perfect,' 'Night Changes,'and 'Watermelon Sugar.'

Classes will be limited and will begin in the Spring semester of 2023.
