HOLLYWOOD- Just one day before Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on Disney+, the first trailer for the Cassian Andor show has dropped.
Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, made his Star Wars debut in “Rouge One: A Star Wars Story” where a brave band of Rebels stole the plans to the Death Star. The trailer debuted during Star Wars Celebration 2022’s Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase.
The official synopsis doesn't give any plot away but does include some big names in the show's cast.
Andor, a tense nail-biting spy thriller created by Tony Gilroy, is set to arrive on Disney+ in 2022. Deigo Luna, reprising the role of rebel spy Cassian Andor from Rouge One: A Star Wars Story, will be joined by a fantastic cast that includes Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Stoller, and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma.
The cast also features Robert Emms and sees the return of Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera.
Andor will premiere on Disney+ on August 31.
Tomorrow, May 27, Disney+ is debuting the first 2 episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
