Dale Watson to Headline 2019 West Texas Boys Ranch Ball

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Dale Watson will be headlining the 2019 West Texas Boys Ranch Ball on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion in San Angelo. It is sure to be a night of good music, good food and good people all benefitting the boys of West Texas Boys Ranch.

The evening will begin when doors open at 6 p.m., the Silent Auction commences, and a cash bar will be available. Dinner will be served at 8 p.m. with the sounds of Dale Watson and his Lone Stars with dancing following from 8:45 to 11:30 p.m.

Dale Watson has been the leader for classic country music for over two decades. He has christened his brand of American roots “Ameripolitan” to differentiate it from the current crop of Nashville-based pop country. The Alabama-born, Texas-raised Watson is rapidly approaching legendary status. He is a country music maverick who stands alongside Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and George Strait as one of the finest country singers and songwriters from the Lone Star State.

“To call Dale Watson’s music country is like calling Ray Charles’ music soul ... both have an air of authenticity that transcends genres and demands that they be put into a class of one," The Troy Record commented about Watson.
