SAN ANGELO, TX – Come out tonight to celebrate the 35th Annual National Night Out Against Crime hosted by the San Angelo Police Department.
There will be games, prizes, free handouts, children’s activities, and first responder vehicles to explore.
Police are encouraging residents to turn on their porch lights, lock their doors, and spend the evening outside with friends, neighbors, Police Officers, EMS, and Firefighters.
Police officers, EMS, and firefighters will be in attendance at these locations and times:
Vistas at Red Creek Aps., 5751 Green Hill Rd. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Angelo Skate & Fun Center, 34 Buick St. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Northside Boys & Girls Club, 1802 N. Lillie from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Trinity Lutheran School, 3516 Lutheran Way from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Goodfellow Family Housing, 2025 Longhorn Dr. from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Bent Tree Apartments, 1625 Sunset Dr. from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Wall Brethren Church, 7921 Loop 570, Wall, TX from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
And on Wednesday, join SAPD Chief Frank Carter and officers for "Coffee with a Cop" event at the Cactus Hotel, located at 36 E Twohig Avenue from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This is an excellent opportunity for the public to meet with Chief Carter, the Assistant Chiefs of Police, and officers from throughout the police department to obtain information about police department programs and to interact with the officers.
This event is open to the public and we hope to meet and talk with as many citizens as possible. We hope to see you there.
