SAN ANGELO, TX — Saturday night’s weather forecast calls for partly cloudy with temperature lows in the mid 60s and winds out of the south at 5 to 10 mph. It’s a perfect evening for ¡Viva! San Angelo, the evening concert headlined by Texas Norteño music phenomenon Siggno and opening act Grupo Vida.

The concert that benefits Downtown San Angelo, Inc. begins at 8 p.m. but the gates to the Bill Aylor Memorial Riverstage on the downtown San Angelo banks of the Concho River open at 5 p.m.

There are about 10 food trucks confirmed to be on the Riverstage grounds Saturday evening. Among them:

Rusas Mexico —They will be serving Agua Frescas, corn, non-alcoholic chelada mix and clamato mix, fruit, nachos, shrimp cocktails, plus much more.

Semper Fresh Kettle Corn — Serving fresh-made kettle corn with ice cold drinks.

Kona Ice — They say they’re not just another truck, but an Kona Entertainment Vehicle (KEV). “This perfectly describes what we’re all about!” Kona Ice said. Their shaved ice truck screams fun and excitement from the shiny chrome wheels, the colorful characters and the tropical steel drum music that whisks you away to a tropical paradise. “Does it get any better? They also specialize in fantastic “Funnel Fingers.”

All of their entrees come with a crisp salad, piping hot baked potato with all the trimmings, and a baked roll.

Dinner prices vary at each food truck as each is a separate business enterprise.
