The West Texas wind kept the balloons on the ground Friday evening and Saturday morning but there is plenty to do at the balloonfest.  The pancake breakfast ran from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the food trucks at the food court are open all day until 10 p.m.

There was a one mile and 5K walk and run at 7:30 Saturday morning and there is entertainment on the main stage throughout the day.

Weather permitting there will be tethered balloon rides beginning at 7 p.m., a Hare & Hound competition balloon flight at 7:15 p.m. and a balloon glow at 8:30 p.m.

Events continue on Sunday.
