Tuesday, June 21, the 2016 Summer String Thing Series continues at Fiddlestrings Sportsbar, located at 3301 Arden Road. Bri Bagwell, country music singer/songwriter, and TRRR (Texas Regional Radio Report) Female Vocalist of the Year, 2013, 2014 & 2015, will be taking the stage around 8 p.m.
As an independent artist, Bagwell released her first CD, “Banned from Santa Fe,” in June of 2011, and then in 2013, her self-titled EP, which featured two radio singles “Hound Dog” and “Crazy."
Bagwell has several videos online that have tens of thousands of views, and most recently, she did a duet with singer/songwriter Mark McKinney. The release is called "Why Haven't You Left Yet?" (a playful, light-hearted take on good love gone wrong), which went out to radio a few weeks ago. It was recently posted on YouTube last Thursday.
