SAN ANGELO, TX - Angelo State University's graduate nursing and education programs have each been ranked among the top programs nationally for their online degree offerings by U.S. News & World Report for its 2025 edition of "Best Online Programs."

"Having two of our programs recognized in these prestigious rankings is a significant achievement and a testament to the quality of graduate education at Angelo State. This recognition also highlights our commitment to offering top-tier online programs accessible to students around the globe."

Angelo State's rankings for both nursing and education also showed improvement over the 2024 rankings - with nursing up from No. 67 to No. 41, and education up from No. 149 to No. 127.
In the summer of 2023, ASU established a new Center for Digital Learning and Instruction (CDLI) to provide collaborative leadership and vision for the expansion and enhancement of the university's online academic courses and degrees. "The upward momentum in our U.S. News rankings following the CDLI's first full year of operation reflects the successful implementation of our student-centered approach to online education," Mohr said. "By focusing on innovative teaching methods and robust student support, we're creating an online learning environment that consistently exceeds expectations and delivers outstanding results for our students, preparing them for success in their chosen fields. Our high ranking in veterans services also demonstrates our commitment to supporting military-connected students throughout their educational journey."
