Central HS Car Show to Benefit Career and Technical Education Programs

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Central High School will host a car show on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tucker Parking Lot, located at 655 Caddo St. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

The event will showcase a variety of vehicles, including pre-1960s models, classic cars from 1960-1980, modern vehicles, low riders, Jeeps, motorcycles, and more. Prizes will be awarded in each category, with a “Best in Show” title also up for grabs.

Proceeds from the show will benefit San Angelo ISD Career and Technical Education programs, including DECA and Skills USA, which help students gain real-world experience in fields like business, marketing, automotive, and technical industries.

Entry fees are $25 for general car entries and $10 for student vehicles, with free admission for spectators. The show aims to support student success through hands-on learning and practical experience.
