SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo ISD’s communications platform "ClassTag" will be undergoing a few changes on February 1, 2024.
Beginning on February 1, 2024, ClassTag will be renamed to "SchoolStatus Connect." As a result of the rebrand, viewers may notice new colors along with a new logo.
"We just wanted you to be aware and eliminate any confusion or concern," the school district stated. "We have been assured that these changes should not impact your ability to access the platform just as you always have, and no action will need to be taken by our students, staff, and guardians."
Users can continue to sign in on the web by visiting www.classtag.com and/or the mobile app (now named SchoolStatus Connect) just as before.
Upon signing in, viewers may be redirected to a newly branded sign-in page but will be able to sign in with the same credentials or single-sign-on method as before.
The ClassTag logo on the mobile app may automatically update to a new SchoolStatus logo for some users.
Users will not need to install a new app. Instead, users may go to sleep one night with the ClassTag logo on their mobile device, and wake up to the new SchoolStatus logo.
Additionally, email, text, and app notifications will be updated to match the new brand. That means that users’ communication notifications will come from SchoolStatus rather than ClassTag.
Here is a full list of rebranding updates you can expect. If you have any questions about these changes, you can reach out to their support team at [email protected].
