Pfluger Hosts 1st Annual Student Leadership Conference at ASU

SAN ANGELO – Congressman August Pfluger spent Saturday hosting his first annual Student Leadership Conference at Angelo State University in the Junell Center.  

Approximately 90 students from across the sprawling 11th Congressional District attended the event including student leaders from Lampasas, San Saba and other central Texas counties in the District.  There were many students from Tom Green County as well.  

The event included remarks from ASU President Ronnie Hawkins, Ector County Judge Dustin Fawcett, and Crockett & Co. Leadership Development Strategist Dr. Kathy Crockett. 

Julie Schniers moderated a Student President Panel including Trevor Bills from Angelo State University, Brandon Lippert from UT Permian Basin, and Mitsue Rodriguez from Howard Payne University.
