Wall High Senior Gets FFA Scholarship

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Wall High School senior received a $1,000 National FFA Scholarship for college yesterday.

Zane Huebner, son of Tiffany Huebner, received the honor for his leadership in the Wall Chapter of the Future Farmers of America. He will be attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Zane was active in the FAA’s agricultural mechanics programs and maintained a 4.0 grade point average.

“I am sincerely honored to be the recipient of such a prestigious scholarship, Zane said. “The FFA will always be near and dear to my heart and I hope to pass this legacy on to future generations.”

The National FFA Scholarship Program in the Concho Valley is paid for by the Ford Motor Company with a matching gift from Jim Bass Ford. Presenting the scholarship yesterday was Jimmy Bass of Jim Bass Ford.
