San Angelo ISD Names Two New Principals

 

San Angelo ISD is pleased to announce two new administrators for the 2015-2016 school year.

Zach Ramirez, a San Angelo native, is the new principal at Goliad Elementary.  Mr. Ramirez will take the place of Dr. Raelye Self, who has accepted a professorship at Angelo State University. He attended SAISD schools and holds two degrees from Angelo State.  He has most recently been an assistant principal at the Central Freshman Campus as well as a summer school principal.  Formerly a special education teacher at Lincoln Middle School, Mr. Ramirez was selected as Department Chair and as Lincoln’s Teacher of the Year.  He and his wife are the parents of three small children.

Rebecca Cline, also a native of San Angelo, is a new assistant principal at Lincoln Middle School. She attended San Angelo ISD schools and holds two degrees from Angelo State. Mrs. Cline has served with SAISD since 1998 in the capacities of science teacher, campus testing coordinator, and counselor.  Most recently she has served as lead counselor at Glenn Middle School.  She and her husband are the parents of two children who are SAISD students.
