MIDLAND, TX — A Midland man who has been charged with two counts of murder after a deadly chase is out of jail again after posting a $2 million bond.
Roberto Pando III, 36, was arrested for a second time Tuesday, June 9, after a 12-year-old boy, Anderson Aguilar, died from injuries in a crash eight days earlier when Pando was reportedly chasing his vehicle.
Pando was arrested the first time after the driver of the other vehicle, 18-year-old James Baker, died at the scene June 1.
According to court documents, Pando admitted to police that he was following the vehicle in hopes of connecting it to robberies that had happened in his neighborhood.
A 911 call was made from the vehicle being pursued, with the occupants stating they were afraid because they were being followed.
Pando then reportedly fired shots at the vehicle as the chase reached speeds of up to 115 miles per hour before he cut in front of them, causing a crash that has now claimed the lives of two people while seriously injuring three others.
He posted a $1 million bond in relation to the first murder charge and was released from Midland County Jail with a GPS ankle monitor before being arrested and released again later that day when the second victim died.

I wasn't there of course but, road rage seems far more plausible for these deaths. If you think someone might maybe possibly could be responsible for crimes in your neighborhood so you chase them, shoot at them, then run them off the road. I don't buy that for a second.

He shot a fire arm at them and then caused them to die. Death Penalty. But if he don't run and they have plenty of money, probably get off manslaughter.
