Abusive Brute Arrested for Viciously Attacking Woman

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested for viciously beating a woman and breaking her wrist and nose.

Frank Flores, 39, was arrested for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

According to court documents, on Aug. 3, 2025, around 6:15 a.m., a Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputy responded to Shannon Medical Center, 120 E. Harris Ave., regarding an assault.

The victim told the investigator that she and the defendant, identified as Frank Flores, were having an argument at a residence in the 1000 block of Zuni Avenue. She said Flores became angry with her and climbed on top of her, then began striking her with closed fists.

The victim said she was trying to cover her face to protect herself, but Flores kept striking her in the face and arms.

When Flores stopped hitting her, she got off the bed and began walking to the bathroom to escape him. Then, Flores came up from behind her and began hitting her again, this time to the right side of her back, close to her kidney.

The victim fell to the ground, unable to breathe, and contacted her mother for help. She was taken to the emergency room at Shannon. The medical staff there informed the investigator that the victim sustained two fractures in her right wrist, a nasal fracture, and chest wall contusions. The injuries the victim sustained caused permanent disfigurement.

When looking into Flores' past, the investigator learned of a previous assault by Flores to the victim. This occurrence was reported to the San Angelo Police Department about three weeks earlier on July 14.

Flores was arrested on Aug. 3, 2025, and booked into the Tom Green County Jail the same day. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
