LUBBOCK, TX — A 74-year-old Lubbock man was arrested recently and charged with possession of child pornography after he reportedly left behind VHS tapes and DVDs with the images in a home he sold.
According to court documents, the new homeowners were cleaning out the residence when they found the VHS tapes and DVDs in an entertainment center.
The covers and titles concerned the homeowners, who contacted police.
Wilkinson had 500 or more visual depictions of sexual abuse of children, according to an indictment.
He was arrested Jan. 17 and released a few hours later after posting a $50,000 bond.
