District Court Slaps Matt Cutrer With Restraining Order for Child Endangerment

SAN ANGELO, Texas – Within the span of one week, a District Judge signed a Restraining Order against Matt Cutrer and a Tom Green Constable attempted to serve him for non-payment of Child Support.

The Restraining Order excludes Cutrer and the child's mother from possession or access to the child effective immediately (April 12, 2024).

As we reported earlier, Cutrer is out of $60,000.00 bond for two serious felony drug charges and is facing 20 years in prison.  According to San Angelo Police, Cutrer was caught in possession of between 4 grams and 200 grams of Meth and between 1 gram and 4 grams of Cocaine in early March.

Cutrer has recently created a startup social media site taking articles from San Angelo LIVE!, his previous employer, without permission.

Cutrer is also attempting to sell advertising on his new Facebook page to local businesses owners, who need to be aware of his dishonest dealings and pending litigation.

Cutrer has a child with Jamie Leigh Hocker.  According to the order, a James Hocker and Donna Hocker filed the petition with the District Court for the restraining order against Cutrer and Jamie Leigh Hocker.

The Restraining Order, signed on April 12, 2024 by District Judge Jay Weatherby, has several specific orders which began immediately.

Additionally, Cutrer and the child's mother are ordered to undergo drug testing and report to the court in person to answer the  issues in the Restraining Order.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, a Tom Green County Deputy Constable came to the San Angelo LIVE! studios to serve Matt Cutrer with official papers from the Texas Attorney General for non-payment of Child Support.

The purpose of this article is to inform readers that Cutrer seems to be an addict and needs to get help, which we hope he does.  The information is also to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the child.

While Cutrer had difficulty grasping even the basics of professional journalism during his brief employment with San Angelo LIVE!, he did show promise as an internet entertainer and we wish well in the entertainment arena once he has completed the adjudication process and received much needed treatment.
