Thinking About Burning in San Angelo? Think Again.

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Fire Department recently reminded residents that "open burning" is prohibited in the city of San Angelo. 

This includes burning construction materials, yard waste, rubbish, brush, and ground fires. 

Acceptable outdoor fires include outdoor fireplaces, barbecue pits, and recreational fire pits with a fuel area of three feet or less in diameter and two feet or less in height. 

Citations may be issued, according to the fire department.
