Brownwood Child Molester Gets Lengthy Prison Sentence

BROWNWOOD, TX — Gino Valadez, of Brownwood, has been handed a 20-year prison sentence following his conviction on charges of Sexual Assault of a Child, Possession of Child Pornography, and Assault Family Violence in the 35th Judicial District Court. The sentencing, delivered last Friday, concluded a trial that revealed disturbing details about Valadez's actions. Authorities stated that Valadez violently sexually abused a 16-year-old with whom he had an ongoing relationship. Additionally, it was reported that he took pictures and videos of some of these encounters using his mobile phone.

While Valadez was out on bond during the investigation, further allegations arose of him repeatedly strangling his girlfriend at that time. The severity of the accusations led to a stringent legal response resulting in a lengthy prison sentence.
